BUILT TO MOVE CHIROPRACTIC & SPORTS REHABILITATION

YOU WANT A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE - LET US HELP YOU ACHIEVE & SUSTAIN THAT LIFESTYLE!

MISSION

Movement is essential in keeping our bodies feeling great; we are striving to bridge the gap between healthcare and fitness by providing a facility that offers access to both. Our mission is to help patients sustain a healthy and active lifestyle so you can continue doing the things you love most. At BTM you’ll experience comprehensive, modern healthcare appointments and training sessions to keep you feeling great.

In simple terms, we are ALL built to move; let’s keep you moving.

What makes us different?

BTM is different than your typical chiropractic office. It is our goal to provide high quality care, use top notch modalities, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team approach to get you feeling your best. Our chiropractors work with a team of incredible on site providers (massage therapists, an athletic trainer, personal trainers, and a mental performance coach) to find the ultimate wellness treatment combination that works best for you. Here’s what our chiropractic approach looks like:

  1. APPOINTMENT LENGTH. Chiropractic appointments are between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your case. We spend more time with you to ensure care is rendered thoroughly and effectively.

  2. NO INSURANCE. Providers who accept private insurance often have to base care around insurance company guidelines. Eliminating this factor from your care allows us to help you to the best of our ability, without being limited by what insurance companies will preauthorize or reimburse for visits.

  3. COMPREHENSIVE TREATMENT. We understand the limitations in each treatment technique and know each patient is different. Patients respond uniquely to various forms of treatment. Our treatments provide a combination of chiropractic manipulation, rehabilitation/corrective exercise, and manual soft tissue therapies to ensure the best result.

  4. EDUCATION. Some patients are hesitant about seeing chiropractors due to the “popping” or “cracking” of joints. While manual adjusting techniques are completely safe for most patients, if this is a concern for you we have various other techniques to aid in restricted joints without the “pop”. We strive to emphasize patient comfort with every technique. Taking time to educate our patients allows them to better understand what is happening with their body during treatments.

  5. WHAT TO EXPECT. Assessment - Diagnosis - Treatment - Education - Preventative Exercises

It can be intimidating seeing a healthcare provider for your painful symptoms. Prior to your appointment we want you to have an idea of what to expect. Your first chiropractic appointment will include an hour long session that begins with a detailed history of your symptoms, identifying your goals of treatments, addressing any additional concerns you may have, as well as a detailed examination and treatment (if appropriate). We recommend wearing flexible clothing since most treatments are movement based!

SERVICES PROVIDED

CHIROPRACTIC CARE

The objective of chiropractic adjustments or manipulation is to correct abnormal joint motion within your body. When the deepest articulations of your body (joints) are not functioning properly, surrounding soft tissue structures (muscles, tendons, ligaments) will not perform at their highest capacity.

This form of treatment improves the range of motion of your joints while reduce nerve irritability and sensitivity. This typically results in improved movement function and reduction in pain.

FUNCTIONAL RANGE CONDITIONING (FRC)

This system of mobility training is based on scientific principals and research developed by world-renowned musculoskeletal, and human movement expert Dr. Andreo Spina, Functional Range Conditioning (FRC®), is a system of joint health and mobility training. Mobility refers to the amount of USABLE motion that we possess across a particular articulation (joint). Increased mobility enables us to maximize our movement potential safely, efficiently, and effectively.

GRASTON SOFT TISSUE MOBILIZATION

A manual therapy approach to treating musculoskeletal injures to the soft tissue structures. This form of treatment targets areas of abnormal tension and density in the fascia (lining of the muscles), as well as fibrosis in the muscle-tendon junction. There is typically a reduction of pain through stimulation of the nervous system.

The objective of this treatment is to assist our body’s natural healing process, inflammation, through localized, controlled stimulation.

PERCUSSION THERAPY

Percussion therapy from the Hypervolt tool stimulates the receptors in the soft tissue through constant micro contractions of the muscles, thus relieving tension in the musculoskeletal system. Benefits include: reduced muscle stiffness and soreness, improved circulation in the soft tissue structures.

CUPPING THERAPY

This form of treatment uses decompression of soft tissue to promote blood flow, stimulate local inflammation, and aid in healing. Benefits include: reduced muscle stiffness and soreness, improved circulation in soft tissue structures, and reduction in pain.

TMJ Dysfunction Treatment

If you’ve been struggling with jaw tension, pain, or clicking this treatment is for you. Issues with the TMJ can lead to headaches, neck pain, and dental problems. This 45 minute specialized appointment will assess TMJ function and myofascial tissue surrounding the jaw. This also allows us to maintain 100% focus on our patients, rather than spending valuable time on the phone with insurance companies fighting for preauthorization or reimbursement.

We DO accept Health Savings Accounts and Flex Spending Accounts. If you invest money in those accounts, there is truly no better place to use it than on your health and wellness!

BENEFITS OF PRIVATE PAY CLINICS

  1. Treatments plans will be designed individually for patients with the objective to get our patients to full functional capacity as soon as possible. We are not basing our treatment plans on insurance company preauthorization or reimbursement.

  2. You will NOT need to get authorizations from primary care providers to get the care you need to meet your functional goals.

  3. You will NOT get unexpected bills in the mail from our clinic or your insurance company stating your services are not covered.

  4. There are NO hidden costs; we will always list our pricing for services and what you see is what you will pay at the time of treatment, so you do not have to worry about unexpected health care bills after your visit.

OUR TEAM

Meet the owners

Hi! We are Justin and Jalana! We met our junior year in undergrad at Whitworth University while both studying Health Science and playing sports (baseball for Justin and volleyball for Jalana). After graduation we moved to San Jose for three years of graduate school at Palmer Chiropractic. Our goal was to modernize how people view chiropractic care. We knew there was so much more that we could bring back to Spokane and offer in our chiropractic care approach which inspired our goal to open a multidisciplinary clinic. The rest is history!

Outside of work we are busy chasing around our kiddo, playing fetch with our corgis, and enjoy golfing and all the local restaurant and brewery scene that Spokane has to offer!

We’re so glad you’re here! Cheers!

Brooke shares, "Hello! I’m Brooke, aka Coach Bash. I’ve been guiding & educating individuals in health and fitness since 2012. As a former collegiate softball player and recovering CF’er (IYKYK), I bring a wealth of experience to my coaching practice.

Over the past decade, I’ve discovered what truly supports clients in achieving their health and wellbeing goals. I’ve found that cookie-cutter programs, restrictive approaches, and extreme intensity often fall short. What truly makes a difference is personalized coaching tailored to each individual’s needs.

I am deeply passionate about educating women about their bodies and how they can foster overall wellbeing. Rather than simply coaching movement, I aim to empower my clients by helping them understand how the body & mind work together so they can make informed decisions that feel best for them. I believe that real progress comes from addressing not just their training but also the other 23 hours of the day.

Outside of coaching, I love spending time with my wife, our twins, and our four furry companions. I’m also a dedicated Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoy friendly sports banter with the best of ‘em.

I’m thrilled to be part of the BTM team and excited to support clients in reaching their fullest potential."
